Job Title: Senior Tourism Marketing Manager

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement annual tourism marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Promote Ethiopia as a preferred travel destination in international and domestic markets.
- Develop marketing campaigns for cultural, historical, adventure, community, and city tour products.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, tourism trends, and competitor activities.
- Develop relationships with overseas tour operators, travel agents, destination management companies, and corporate clients.
- Participate in international tourism fairs, travel exhibitions, roadshows, and B2B networking events.
- Coordinate digital marketing campaigns through websites, social media, email marketing, and online travel platforms.
- Prepare promotional materials including brochures, travel packages, presentations, and destination content.
- Negotiate partnership agreements with tourism stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare monthly marketing reports.
- Identify new tourism products and recommend business expansion opportunities.
- Coordinate branding activities and maintain the company's corporate image.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure successful delivery of marketed tour packages.
- Prepare annual marketing budgets and monitor marketing expenditures.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of Ethiopian tourism destinations.
- Good report writing skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Experience using social media and digital marketing platforms.
- Excellent English communication (additional foreign languages are an advantage)
