We are recruiting a Senior Engineer to lead our Reliability Engineers Team, ensuring alignment with our Strategic Asset Management Plan. This role focuses on continuous improvement through defect elimination, root cause analysis (RCA), and rigorous performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Engineer Reliability Jobs in Kalumbila Lead and mentor the Reliability Engineers Team, fostering a culture of safety compliance and technical excellence. Oversee periodic reviews and implementation of asset management strategies for plant production equipment.

Drive continuous defect elimination processes by identifying, analyzing, and resolving chronic failures. Lead root cause analysis investigations for high-impact incidents and ensure corrective actions are executed effectively.

Maintain a comprehensive database to track actions from defect elimination and RCA processes. Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across departments to ensure timely completion of corrective measures.

Manage resource allocation to support safe and technically sound execution of reliability activities. Develop succession plans and conduct performance reviews aligned with planning KPIs.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance asset management practices. Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 10 years’ experience in reliability engineering and asset management within the mining sector.

At least 5 years in a senior supervisory or leadership role. Engineering degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent extensive experience in reliability and asset management.

Proficient in maintenance and reliability systems, including ERP or CMMS, SCADA, OsiSoft PI, or related databases. Demonstrated expertise in reliability methodologies such as FMEA, RCA, RCM, and MTA.

Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project. Essential Skills and Attributes Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities to resolve complex reliability challenges.

Effective communication skills in English, with strong emphasis on written communication. Proven ability to collaborate across multiple departments including operations, maintenance, and safety.

Organizational skills with a focus on efficient resource management and quality execution of tasks. Application Details This is a full-time position based in Kalumbila, Zambia.
