Role Overview:

Finance Business Partner Jobs in Solwezi Reporting to the Superintendent Accounting, the Finance Business Partner will play a vital role in managing capital expenditure processes, preparing annual capital budgets and rolling forecasts, and tracking project expenditures against plans.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with management to identify risks and opportunities affecting the project pipeline and contribute to value creation across the business. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, finance, and HR policies and regulations relevant to the role.

Support preparation and approval of capital expenditure requests (AFCEs), including thorough financial analysis of proposals. Assist project owners in managing capital spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and controlling expenditures.

Coordinate the annual capital budget and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Drive improvements in capital reporting efficiency and simplicity.

Perform project performance analysis, budget tracking, and variance reporting to stakeholders. Manage quarterly Capex reporting for Group presentations.

Support ad hoc projects and contribute to broader Finance team objectives. Develop strong working relationships with department heads and key personnel on site.

Provide management with ad hoc reports to support key management personnel (KMP) performance evaluation. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Degree in Accounts & Business Studies, CIMA, ACCA, or CA Zambia equivalent.

All qualifications must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA). Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in mining finance and accounting.

Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as Pronto. Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
