The Superintendent Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in improving management reporting by collaborating closely with the business improvement team, cost accountants, and various departments.
The position focuses on streamlining reporting procedures and ensuring the accuracy of financial data to support effective management decisions. Key Responsibilities for Superintendent Management Accountant Jobs in Kalumbila Lead the implementation and ongoing development of Microsoft Power BI for business management reporting.
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of diverse stakeholders and departments. Collaborate with departments to understand and customize reporting requirements effectively.
Provide training and support to departmental teams for efficient use of Power BI tools. Work alongside cost accountants to integrate cost data accurately into Power BI reports.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiency in partnership with the business improvement team. Ensure all reporting complies with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional accounting certifications such as ZICA, ACCA, CA, CPA, or CIMA are required.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong background in managing large financial databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and familiarity with ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills to convert complex financial data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Demonstrated business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management information reporting capabilities. Essential Competencies and Attributes Leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate teams.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Strong decision-making skills and a focus on delivering results within deadlines.
