ESG & MONITORING,EVALUATION AND LEARNING(MEL) SPECIALIST

We are seeking an ESG & Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Specialist based in Kitwe. This full-time role combines driving corporate sustainability (ESG) strategies with managing project performance and impact tracking (MEL) to ensure data-driven growth.

Key Responsibilities

• ESG Management: Develop and monitor ESG frameworks, ensure local and international compliance, and lead risk assessments and reporting.
• MEL Frameworks: Design data collection tools, track performance indicators, oversee quality assurance, and translate data into actionable insights.
• Learning & Reporting: Drive a culture of learning across teams and deliver comprehensive impact reports for stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Statistics, Development Studies, or a relevant field.
• Experience: 1–4 years managing ESG frameworks and/or MEL systems (NGO or corporate sustainability sector preferred).
• Skills: Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SPSS, KoboToolbox/ODK) and familiar with the Zambian environmental regulatory landscape.
