Role Overview:
Data Analyst Jobs in Kalumbila The Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in improving plant operations by developing predictive maintenance models, managing data integrations, and ensuring the integrity of operational data systems.
This full-time position requires collaboration across Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to provide data-driven insights that enhance asset performance and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain data pipelines consolidating information from multiple operational and business systems.
Analyze equipment performance, maintenance, and reliability data to identify trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities. Build predictive maintenance models to forecast equipment failures and support proactive maintenance strategies.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to deliver actionable insights to maintenance and operations teams. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, accessibility, and governance across reliability-related systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that improve asset performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives through advanced analytics and reliability-focused reporting.
Provide training and technical support on data analytics tools, methodologies, and reporting systems. Lead the execution of the Preventive Maintenance Optimization (PMO) project to keep maintenance programs current and effective.
Develop and maintain strategic plans for defect elimination and management of bad actors. Contribute actively to health, safety, and environmental management in line with company policies.
Required Skills and Experience Minimum of three years’ experience in a data engineering or analytics role, preferably in manufacturing, mining, or industrial sectors. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, predictive analytics, and machine learning. Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming large operational datasets.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and other data visualization tools to develop interactive dashboards and reports. Familiarity with ERP systems such as Pronto Xi, JD Edwards (JDE), SAP, or equivalent platforms.
Knowledge of industrial data historians, SCADA systems, PI System, or similar operational technology platforms. Understanding of cloud-based analytics, big data technologies (Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop), ETL processes, and data governance principles.
Strong statistical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams including Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain. Behavioural Competencies High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Identify EH&S risks and recommend appropriate changes to mitigate exposures. Lead efforts to minimize environmental impacts and promote sustainable resource use.
Ensure completion of required health and safety training and reporting of incidents. Participate actively in safety meetings and promote continuous safety performance improvements.
