About the Wellness Coordinator Role As the Wellness Coordinator, you will hold a pivotal leadership position within the Site Health team, overseeing the activities of the Wellness team across the Kansanshi and Kalumbila sites.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with Fitness, Occupational Health, and Health Promotion teams to implement a comprehensive wellness strategy that enhances both physical and mental wellbeing across the workforce.

This full-time role demands strong leadership to manage wellness officers and specialist consultants, develop impactful engagement campaigns, and ensure the effective delivery of sensitization programs, wellness events, and interactive activities.

Key Responsibilities for Wellness Coordinator Jobs in Solwezi Lead and Coordinate:

• Supervise the Wellness team and external consultants at multiple mine sites; drive monthly and quarterly wellness planning in partnership with HR and health service teams.

Create Engagement Campaigns:

• Design and implement wellness challenges, annual events, and multi-site initiatives such as interdepartmental competitions and World Health Day activities.

Champion Workforce Wellbeing:

Coordinate sensitization programs addressing mental health, stress, fatigue, healthy eating, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and other corporate wellness themes; deliver talks, webinars, and interactive sessions.

Design and Communicate:

• Develop compelling information, education, and communication (IEC) materials including posters, infographics, videos, and pamphlets to make wellness concepts accessible and engaging.

Report and Demonstrate Value:

• Produce accurate wellness statistics and dashboards to measure engagement, impact, and return on investment; maintain effective reporting and tracking systems.

Manage Specialist Services:

• Support coordination of consultant services such as psychology, counselling, nutrition, and psychiatry as needed.
• Qualifications and Experience Degree in Social Sciences, Health or Allied Health Sciences, Organisational Psychology, or related field with wellness or life coaching certification.
• ZAQA validated qualifications are mandatory.

Preferred but not required:

• Project or operations management experience, Certificate in Coaching or Leadership Development, training in Social Media Management or Digital Campaigns.
• Additional qualifications in organisational psychology, wellness programming, marketing, or public health are advantageous.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in wellness coordination, corporate health, workplace wellbeing, or related fields.
• Experience with Canva or a diploma in Communications, Marketing, or Digital Media is beneficial.
