Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Control

  • Develop and maintain robust stock control systems to ensure accurate inventory levels and proper documentation.
  • Implement inventory optimization techniques (e.g., ABC analysis) to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, physical reconciliations, and routine audits to eliminate discrepancies.
  • Track and report on slow-moving, damaged, or obsolete inventory.

Warehouse Operations & Logistics

  • Manage all inbound, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
  • Ensure warehouse layout and product storage are optimized for efficient space utilization and fast retrieval.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, liaising with transport providers and suppliers to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Update and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and stock registers on a daily basis.

Team Leadership & Safety

  • Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational targets and productivity goals.
  • Enforce strict health, safety, and security protocols across the facility.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control.
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, or a closely related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.
