The Role
This is a permanent, remote position with an expected commitment of 15–20 hours per month. While the hours are flexible, you will be a core part of the Kleartech team — reporting into our operations structure, participating in regular check-ins, and maintaining visibility on your tasks and progress. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, not just pick up ad hoc work.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, implement, and support LAN, SD-WAN, and WLAN infrastructure across client environments. Administer Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, Fortinet FortiGate (UTM, VPN, HA), and Palo Alto firewalls. Troubleshoot network issues and optimise performance. Support client projects from requirements gathering through to go-live. Maintain clear and up-to-date network documentation. Provide regular updates on task progress and time spent.
What We're Looking For
Experience with Cisco switching, routing, and IOS/XE. Familiarity with Meraki cloud management and site-to-site VPN. Knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and SD-WAN. Exposure to Palo Alto security policies, GlobalProtect, and Panorama. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, DHCP, and DNS. Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, or SNMP.
Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, NSE4+, or PCNSA are a plus but not required. You don't need to tick every box — solid Cisco and firewall experience with a willingness to learn is what matters most.
