About the role

ISS Freight Forwarding Ethiopia plc is looking for a motivated Marketing and Sales specialist. The successful candidate will execute day to day sales and marketing activities, acquire new clients, manage client accounts, and promote the company’s freight forwarding and logistics services in the market.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute day to day marketing and sales activities in line with the targets set by the Marketing and Sales manager
  • Identify and peruse new business opportunities with in target sector such as importers, exporters, manufacturers, NGO’s and governmental entities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and service presentations to prospective and existing clients
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support the marketing and sales manager in refining commercial strategy
  • Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with clients with in approved margins Prepare regular sales activity reports, forecasts and pipeline updates.
