Role Overview:

Lead IT Business Partnerships Jobs in Solwezi The Lead, IT Business Partnerships & Projects will spearhead strategic business engagement efforts to maximize value from IT and digital solutions, accelerating the company’s digital transformation journey.

This role requires building strong partnerships with senior business leaders, aligning IT strategy with business goals, and championing change management to ensure successful technology adoption and sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Business Engagement & Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders; act as the primary liaison between IT & Digital and business units; advise on technology trends and digital transformation opportunities; facilitate workshops to identify innovation initiatives.

Business Value & Portfolio Management:

Collaborate with leadership to prioritize IT investments; support IT finance and procurement processes; develop business cases with ROI and benefits realization; conduct portfolio reviews to ensure strategic alignment and impact.

Change Management & Digital Adoption:

Design enterprise-wide change management strategies; lead organizational readiness assessments; develop communication and training plans; oversee user adoption to embed new technologies and drive cultural change.

Requirements Management & Solution Alignment:

• Lead requirements gathering and business impact assessments; ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria; promote user-centric design principles.

Governance & Performance Management:

• Establish engagement frameworks and best practices; define and monitor KPIs; lead business reviews; manage escalations and continuous improvement.

Team Leadership & Capability Building:

• Develop programs to enhance business analysis and change management skills; build organizational digital literacy and transformation capabilities.
• Qualifications and Experience Minimum Grade 12 Certificate required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, data science, or related fields.
• A Master’s degree is an advantage.
• All academic credentials must be verified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
• At least 7 years of experience in IT project management, IT business partnerships, or leadership roles.
• Proven track record as IS Superintendent, IT Project Manager, or similar roles managing software development or IT projects.
• Relevant project management certifications such as Scrum Master, PMP, or Prince2.
• Membership in ICTAZ or EIZ is preferred.
