POSITION: ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE OFFICER
Location: Lilongwe Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing daily office administration and ensuring efficient office operations.
Preparing, processing, and maintaining financial records and reports.
Handling accounts payable and receivable.
Processing payments, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
Assisting with budgeting and financial planning.
Preparing payroll and maintaining employee records.
Managing procurement records and office inventory.
Filing statutory returns and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Preparing quotations, invoices, receipts, and payment schedules.
Coordinating meetings, correspondence, and document management.
Supporting management with administrative and financial reporting.
Performing any other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
A Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years’ relevant work experience in administration and finance.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Experience with accounting software will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
