Role Overview:

Warehouse Officer Jobs in Lusaka The Warehouse Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by managing the receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, and dispatch of materials and finished products.

This position supports uninterrupted production and timely customer deliveries by maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procedures and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and finished goods to ensure quality and accuracy.

Store inventory properly in line with company standards and safety protocols. Maintain precise inventory records using warehouse management systems such as ERP or SAP.

Conduct regular stock counts, including cycle counts and participate in comprehensive stock audits. Monitor inventory levels and promptly report shortages or discrepancies.

Prepare and process all relevant warehouse documentation, including delivery and goods receipt notes. Coordinate the timely loading and dispatch of goods to meet production and delivery schedules.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse. Supervise housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to facilitate smooth warehouse operations. Investigate inventory variances and recommend corrective measures.

Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Minimum of three years’ experience managing warehouse operations in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse safety standards. Essential Skills Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.

High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across departments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently. Demonstrated integrity and accountability in all tasks.
