Another Chance Alcohol & Drugs Rehabilitation Center in Chongwe District is looking for a committed, honest and qualified female accountant to volunteer her skills and support its mission.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Another Chance Alcohol & Drugs Rehabilitation Center is committed to the rehabilitation and empowerment of individuals struggling with substance abuse through care, support, counselling and life-skills development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounts.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports and basic financial statements.
• Record income, expenditure, receipts and payments.
• Assist with financial planning and monitoring of the Centre’s resources.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions.
• Support accountability and transparency in the use of funds.
• Assist management with financial advice and administrative duties when required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Grade 12 Certificate and/or a relevant accounting qualification.
• A certificate, diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
• Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Previous accounting experience is an advantage.
