Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport employees, management, visitors, and guests to various destinations.
  • Operate the assigned 14-seater passenger van and other company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Deliver and collect official documents, parcels, and other company materials as required.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of assigned vehicles.
  • Monitor fuel levels, mileage, servicing schedules, insurance, and inspection certificates.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly and coordinate repairs when required.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, mileage, and maintenance records.
  • Support airport transfers, official meetings, company events, and other transport assignments.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers at all times.
  • Observe confidentiality and professionalism while handling company assignments.
  • Comply with all company health, safety, and security policies.

Qualifications

  • KCSE Certificate. A Certificate or Diploma.
  • Valid Kenyan Driving License with Class B1 and D2 endorsements. Class D1 is mandatory for operating the company's 14-seater passenger van.
  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
  • Defensive Driving and First Aid certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years' professional driving experience.
  • Clean driving record with no major traffic offences.

  • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of Kenyan traffic regulations.
  • Strong defensive driving and road safety practices.
  • Basic vehicle inspection and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedules.
  • Flexible and willing to work outside normal working hours when required.
