The selected candidate will report to the Group Financial Controller. He/She will manage the organisation’s cash flow, banking activities, liquidity and financial risk to ensure funds are available for business operations.


What you will be doing?


  • Manage the company's daily cash position and ensure adequate liquidity across all entities
  • Prepare the daily cash management report as well as weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and monitor actual cash movements against forecast
  • Liaise with banks on payments, collections, account administration, guarantees and other banking facilities
  • Maintain records of bank facilities, import and export loans, overdrafts and letters of credit
  • Monitor bank balances and optimise the utilisation of available funds
  • Prepare and reconcile daily bank statements within the ERP system
  • Investigate and resolve bank reconciliation discrepancies promply
  • Ensure all treasury transactions are properly authorised and comply with internal controls and company policies
  • Manage foreign currency transactions and monitor foreign exchange exposure
  • Execute and monitor foreign exchange transactions, including swaps and forwards
  • Monitor loan repayments, interest calculations and compliance with banking convenants
  • Prepare treasury reports for Management, including cash position, borrowings and liquidity analysis
  • Prepare the Interest-Bearing Debt (IBD) analysis
  • Maintain authorised signatory records and coordinate updates with banking institutions
  • Work closely with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to optimise cash inflows and outflows
  • Carry out any other treasury-related duties assigned  by the Group Financial Controller or Finance Manager

What are we looking for?

  • Strong knowledge of cash management and treasury operations
  • Sound understanding of banking products and payment systems
  • Proven experience in foreign exchange transactions, including swaps and forwards
  • Good understanding of internal controls and financial governance
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
