The Ethiopian Nurses Association (ENA) is the national professional association representing nurses in Ethiopia. Established in 195 •••••• 44 E.C.), ENA has served the nursing profession for more than seven decades, promoting excellence in nursing practice, education, leadership, research, and advocacy. Since 1957, ENA has been a member of the International Council of Nurses (ICN), connecting Ethiopian nurses with the global nursing community.

ENA is a legally registered professional association dedicated to advancing the nursing profession and improving the quality of healthcare services in Ethiopia. The Association works closely with the Federal Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, regional health bureaus, higher education institutions, development partners, and other professional associations to strengthen the health system through a competent and well-supported nursing workforce.

Position Summary

The Training Facilitator will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and facilitation of ENA training activities. The position will assist in preparing training materials, organizing training sessions, supporting facilitators and participants, and ensuring proper documentation of training activities in collaboration with ENA teams and relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, organization, and facilitation of training sessions, workshops, and learning events.
• Support the facilitation of training sessions using appropriate training approaches and methodologies.
• Assist in preparing, adapting, and organizing training materials, manuals, presentations, and other learning resources.
• Coordinate with ENA teams, health facilities, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of training activities.
• Support participant registration, communication, attendance tracking, and training logistics.
• Collect participant feedback and support evaluation of training effectiveness.
• Maintain training records, attendance sheets, evaluation forms, and other required documentation.
• Support CPD-related training documentation and certification processes.
• Prepare training activity reports and contribute to organizational reporting requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
