Teacher of Chemistry and Biology/Physics – Secondary Section

  • Lead Chemistry and Biology/Physics classes, supporting students’ overall growth.
  • Enhance learning through practical work, experiments, and demonstrations.
  • Ensure safe laboratory practices and equipment use.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback.
  • Promote scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and resource planning.
  • Support science clubs, STEM initiatives, and enrichment programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and pastoral teams.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Grade 12 Certificate with at least 5 credits.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education specializing in Chemistry and Biology/Physics for Science Teacher role, with capability to teach up to A-Level.
  • Registration as a qualified teacher with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) and a valid practicing license.
  • Familiarity with ECZ and Cambridge assessment systems.
  • At least three years of teaching experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, compassion, and flexibility.
  • A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional development.
