Right to Care Zambia (RTCZ) has provided public health service delivery and technical assistance in partnership with the Ministry of Health since 2016. Its work includes HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, epidemic response, malaria and TB, public health research, social behaviour change, laboratory services, pharmaceutical supply chains and non-communicable diseases.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking or a related technology field.
• Three years’ IT systems administration, infrastructure and end-user support experience, including hardware maintenance, networking and internet troubleshooting.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field.
• Networking/infrastructure certifications such as CISCO/CCNA or ITIL.
• Five years’ infrastructure/systems-administration experience, including health-information/supply-chain systems such as eLMIS and multiple/remote sites.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Infrastructure and hardware support
• Install, configure, maintain and repair computers, printers, servers, network equipment, UPS and other infrastructure at assigned provincial warehouses/hubs and facilities.
• Maintain availability and performance of equipment supporting eLMIS/supply-chain systems.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements and equipment return to minimise downtime.
Network and internet
• Install, configure and maintain LAN/internet connectivity for eLMIS.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot and liaise with providers for resolution.
• Escalate persistent problems to the Systems Support Manager.
eLMIS site and user support
• Provide first-line hardware, connectivity and access assistance.
• Support installation, updates and configuration with the software team.
• Provide remote support through TeamViewer/AnyDesk and on-site support as needed.
• Orient users in effective eLMIS use.
Systems administration and security
• Administer user accounts/access under IT security policies and standards.
• Apply security measures, antivirus updates and patches to protect systems/data.
• Perform backups and support site disaster recovery.
Monitoring, reporting and documentation
• Report infrastructure, connectivity and eLMIS availability against service-level agreements.
• Maintain equipment, incident and resolution records and documentation.
• Submit status/incident reports and perform other assigned responsibilities.
IT asset management
• Keep asset registers current, including location, custodian, serial number, asset tag and device details.
