The Shop Assistant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all stock dispatched from the Gaborone branch by verifying quantities and products against invoices and dispatch documentation before goods leave the premises.

The role also supports daily shop and warehouse operations, including stock organization, customer service and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and confirm all dispatched stock against invoices and dispatch notes before it leaves the warehouse.
• Maintain stock accuracy and assist with regular stock counts.
• Report any stock discrepancies, damages or shortages immediately.
• Support the sales and warehouse teams with day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• BGCSE or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail, warehouse or stock control will be an added advantage.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Honest, dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
