About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and detail-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to support and execute the day-to-day marketing activities across all Pharo Health service lines. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager & the rest of the Pharo health team, the Marketing Officer will bring Pharo Health’s brand to life across every touchpoint. The role is a field-based role responsible for generating patient referrals, building relationships with doctors, other healthcare professionals & healthcare institutions, and corporates, partners, and promoting its services in Addis Ababa & neighboring cities. This role combines direct sales activity with grassroots marketing execution — visiting referral sources, representing Pharo at camps and events, and converting leads into patient footfall. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder, comfortable with daily fieldwork and target-driven goals
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead Generation, Referrals, & Relationship Building
- Visit physicians, healthcare institutions & corporate institutions to promote Pharo’s services and build & maintain referral relationships.
- Retain existing clients and onboard new referral sources and maintain regular contact to strengthen loyalty and repeat referrals.
- Promote Pharo’s services to the general population
- Follow up on institutional contracts, renewals, and payment coordination with corporate partners.
- Generate and follow up on patient leads and maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and follow-ups.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within set timelines
Marketing Activities & Events
- Organize tailored marketing activities
- Plan advertising and promotional campaigns
- Develop innovative marketing activity ideas and promotional materials
- Represent, Pharo Health in external events and social events
- Distribute promotional materials, to prospective patients and partners.
