BuySimu Technologies Limited is seeking a highly driven and strategic Regional Business Development Manager to lead market expansion, merchant acquisition, customer growth, and business performance across assigned regions in Kenya. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong merchant partnerships, drive revenue growth, and support the execution of the company's regional expansion strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive regional market expansion and identify new business opportunities.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage merchant partners.
  • Increase customer acquisition and product uptake.
  • Achieve regional sales and revenue targets.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare business performance and market intelligence reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • MBA is an added advantage.
  • 7–12 years' experience in business development, sales, or market expansion.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, lending, telecommunications, or the mobile phone industry is an added advantage.
  • Proven track record in achieving business growth and sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Kenya.
