Purchasing Lead
Epiroc is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Purchasing Lead to lead and optimise purchasing processes while ensuring the timely, cost-effective and compliant procurement of goods and services.
Functional Area: Supply Chain and Sourcing
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply or equivalent.
- Membership of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
Experience Required
- At least eight years’ experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
- Proven experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and purchasing processes.
- Experience in inventory management, procurement compliance and internal controls.
- Vendor-onboarding experience.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
