JOB PURPOSE
To strengthen relationships with healthcare providers and ensure seamless service delivery to members, while also driving wellness initiatives that enhance member health outcomes and reduce long-term claims costs. The role balances operational provider management with the design and implementation of preventive health and wellness programs
Academic Background & Relevant Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in nursing, Clinical Medicine, Public Health, Health Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Registration and valid practicing license with a recognized professional body e.g., Nursing Council of Kenya, Clinical Officers Council, Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Training or certification in wellness, preventive healthcare, care management, or chronic disease management would be an added advantage.
- Training in health insurance, claims management, or medical underwriting would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in healthcare provider relations, medical insurance, care management, wellness coordination, clinical operations, or a related healthcare environment.
- Experience working with healthcare providers, corporate clients, members, or insurance operations would be preferred.
