Your Mission

  • In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing procurement operations in Puratos Kenya, ensuring alignment with global standards while enhancing cost efficiency, supplier performance, compliance, and import/export effectiveness.

What you do

  • Align procurement activities with Puratos’ global strategy, policies, and procedures
  • Source raw materials locally and internationally in a cost-efficient manner
  • Create, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Oversee import/export processes, including documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and government authorities
  • Maintain and update the supplier database in line with vendor management standards
  • Support supplier performance evaluations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and sustainability standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning teams to prevent stock disruptions
  • Prepare procurement reports and provide actionable insights for decision-making

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in procurement and supply chain operations
  • Proven experience in import/export operations and local sourcing
  • Solid understanding of international trade regulations and Kenyan customs procedures
  • Professional certification CIPS, CPSP-K or KISM membership is an added advantage
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
