Responsibilities:

Marketing for Stratcomm Africa Group

• Develop and implement Stratcomm Africa's annual marketing strategy and work plan.
• Identify and pursue new marketing opportunities to support business growth.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Support the development and marketing of new products and services.
• Prepare and coordinate marketing campaigns across relevant platforms.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives using agreed performance indicators.
• Support proposal development and business pitches in collaboration with the Business Development and Communications teams.

Brand development and management

• Develop and implement brand strategies that strengthen Stratcomm Africa's corporate identity.
• Ensure consistency in the application of the company's brand across all communication materials.
• Lead branding initiatives for both Stratcomm Africa and client assignments.
• Monitor brand performance and recommend improvements where necessary.

 Advertising

• Liaise with clients to identify their advertising requirements
• Lead the planning, execution and evaluation of advertising campaigns.
• Engage clients to understand advertising objectives and develop appropriate campaign solutions.
• Coordinate internal teams and external service providers to deliver quality campaigns on time and within budget.
• Prepare advertising briefs, campaign reports and performance evaluations.
• Support business development efforts through client presentations and proposal development.
• Manage advertising budgets and monitor campaign expenditure.

Monitoring and Evaluation

Performance will be measured against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:

• Achievement of annual marketing and business development targets.
• Successful planning and execution of marketing, branding and advertising campaigns.
• Growth in brand visibility, market presence and stakeholder engagement.
• Generation of quality business leads and contribution to revenue growth.
• Timely delivery of marketing and advertising projects within approved budgets.
• Quality and effectiveness of marketing materials, campaigns and proposals.
• Client satisfaction and feedback on marketing and advertising assignments.
• Compliance with organisational policies, branding standards and reporting requirements.
• Contribution to innovation, continuous improvement and organisational strategic objectives.

Planning And Reporting

Develop and submit the following plans and reports;

• Annual plans and reports
• Quarterly plans and reports
• Monthly plans and reports
• Weekly plans and reports
• Activity plans and reports as required

Requirements

Education & Related Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce or related discipline
• Professional qualification in Marketing, Advertising or Communication is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5years relevant working experience in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Brand Management, Media Strategy, Creative Strategy, Advertising, Production
• Significant knowledge of current trends in Advertising and emerging markets
• Experience within communications consultancy and advertising agency is an advantage.
