Job Summary :- The Power BI Developer II will analyze, design, develop, and manage end-to-end Power BI Business Intelligence solutions for Kerchanshe Group, integrating data from the ERP system, internally developed applications, spreadsheets, and other disparate data sources across the Group's agriculture, coffee, and meat processing operations. The role consolidates these sources into a single, governed source of truth and delivers reliable, decision-ready dashboards and reports that enable management and business units to make timely, data-driven decisions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

BI Requirements & Solution Design

 ● Serve as the functional and technical point of contact for Power BI reporting and analytics across all business units, including agriculture, coffee, and meat processing. 

● Gather and analyse business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into scalable Power BI data models, reports, and dashboards. ● Conduct gap analysis of existing reporting solutions and recommend improvements or new BI capabilities. 

● Design end-to-end BI architecture that unifies ERP (D365FO), internally developed systems, spreadsheets, and other data sources into a single source of truth. Data Integration & Modeling 

● Build and maintain robust ETL/data pipelines (Power Query, dataflows, Azure Data Factory or similar) to extract, transform, and load data from ERP, custom applications, spreadsheets, and third-party sources. 

● Design and maintain efficient, well-governed data models (star/snowflake schemas) and DAX measures that support accurate, consistent reporting. 

● Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across multiple companies, sites, and business units. 

● Optimize data refresh schedules, dataset performance, and query efficiency.

Dashboard & Report Development 

● Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that support operational and executive decision-making. 

● Translate complex datasets into clear, intuitive visualizations tailored to different user groups (operations, finance, supply chain, executive management).

 ● Implement row-level security and access controls to ensure appropriate data governance. 

● Continuously enhance existing dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

 Data Governance & Single Source of Truth 

● Establish and maintain data governance standards, naming conventions, and documentation for all BI assets.

 ● Own the Power BI workspace and dataset architecture, ensuring a single, trusted source of truth across the organization. 

● Coordinate with ERP, IT, and business teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure alignment across systems. 

● Maintain a data dictionary and metadata documentation for all integrated sources. 

Testing, Deployment & Support 

● Perform testing and validation of data models, reports, and dashboards prior to deployment. 

● Support UAT cycles with business users and sign off on new or enhanced BI solutions.

 ● Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of published reports and dashboards.

● Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials for BI solutions.

 Mentorship & Training 

● Support junior BI/Power BI developers in development, testing, and functional tasks. 

● Conduct targeted training and knowledge sharing on Power BI and data analytics best practices for end users.
