VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT
The Catholic University of Malawi invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions tenable at Montfort Campus, Nguludi, Chiradzulu.
ACADEMIC POSITIONS
1. DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTANCY
Position: Senior Lecturer in Accountancy (1 post)
Qualification: A Doctorate in Accountancy from an accredited institution.
Position: Lecturer in Accountancy (2 posts)
Qualification: A Master’s in Accountancy or a Chartered Accountant from an accredited institution.
2. DEPARTMENT OF MARKETING
Position: Lecturer in Marketing (2 posts)
Qualification: Strictly a Master’s in Marketing or a Chartered Marketer from an accredited institution.
3. DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Position: Senior Lecturer in Business Administration (1 post)
Qualification: A Doctorate in Business Administration from an accredited institution.
4. DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY AND ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
Position: Senior Lecturer in Geography or Environmental Studies.
Qualification: A Doctorate in Geography or Environmental studies from an accredited institution.
ADMINISTRATIVE POSITION
1. Building and Maintenance Officer
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture from a recognized institution
- Degree from a vocational school or equivalent including some supervisory experience or
- Any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Demonstrated understanding of construction techniques for various types of work under different working conditions
- Ability to interpret working drawings and specifications for a project
- Ability to prepare cost estimates
- Ability to detect plan, execute and supervise maintenance works
- Demonstrate knowledge of maintenance procedures and systems to be maintained
