Media and Advocacy Coordinator (Volunteer) Reporting to the CEO/NPC, the Media and Advocacy Coordinator will direct SVN’s communications, media relations, advocacy campaigns, and public awareness efforts. This role is critical in enhancing the organization’s visibility, influencing policy, and engaging communities through strategic, evidence-based advocacy and compelling storytelling.
Core Responsibilities for Media and Advocacy Roles Media and Communications:
Develop and implement media strategies; oversee website and social media platforms; produce press releases, newsletters, brochures, and reports; coordinate media events and maintain strong media relationships.
Advocacy and Policy Engagement:
Lead advocacy initiatives supporting human rights, gender equality, child protection, health, climate resilience, disability inclusion, and governance; prepare policy briefs; coordinate stakeholder dialogues and public consultations.
