Role Overview:

• Mechanic Plumber The company is seeking one full-time Mechanic Plumber to join its engineering team.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems to support ongoing mining operations. Key Responsibilities Receive and execute daily written work orders and verbal instructions from the foreman.

Maintain and repair plumbing works and fittings using appropriate skills and knowledge. Utilize available materials, parts, and labor to complete tasks to acceptable standards.

Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean and orderly after each job. Complete all job-related documentation thoroughly to facilitate effective communication.

Candidate Requirements Grade 12 Certificate. Craft Certificate in Plumbing.

Membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ). Physical fitness and dexterity necessary for handling tools and equipment.

Proficient oral and written communication skills. Ability to interpret engineering drawings accurately.

All academic qualifications must be verified and certified by the Zambia Qualifications Authority. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, able to work independently, and demonstrate a clear understanding of the scope of work.
