Description
Brand Building & Market Leadership
- Build and protect brand equity across assigned brands, ensuring consistent positioning across every customer and specifier touchpoint.
- Develop and roll out brand toolkits, product knowledge training and technical content that equip the sales and agent network to sell with confidence.
- Work with Product teams and the Sales function to translate brand strategy into merchandising, POS and digital assets that drive off-take.
Launch Support
- Plan and coordinate go-to-market support for all new product and brand launches, in partnership with Production, Customer Service, and Sales.
- Develop sales presenters, launch content and partner events to prepare agents and sales teams ahead of launch.
- Conduct regular market and specifier visits to track how events and marketing activities are landing in key markets.
- Evaluate launch performance against targets and prepare a closing report capturing results and lessons for future launches.
Campaign & Promotions Planning
- Develop the annual brand and country-level promotional calendar, grounded in brand strategy, sales input and customer/specifier insight.
- Align Channel Marketing and Sales on planned activity, incorporating their feedback before campaigns are finalised.
- Present the proposed annual promotional plan to the Sales Head and Marketing Head for approval.
- Work with Finance to align budgets for each promotion and all related costs.
Performance Evaluation & Analytics
- Evaluate campaigns and promotions before and after launch, using ROI estimates, market feedback and available data to judge effectiveness.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to validate promotional results and translate learnings into sharper future planning.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as the day-to-day link between Marketing and Sales, Design, Procurement, Finance, Production, Operations, Site teams, Influencer/Specification and other regional business units, plus external agencies, research partners, event organisers and media houses — gathering input and delivering work aligned to shared objectives.
- Conduct joint market visits with Sales teams to stay close to the customers, MRM Channel and Agents.
Requirements
Qualifications required:
- Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field
- Qualifications as an added advantage: Postgraduate marketing qualification e.g. CIM
Experience required:
- General work experience years: 5-7 years in Marketing, with at least 2 years in a brand or marketing leadership role
- Specific to the position level/discipline/years: Strong grounding in brand strategy, digital marketing and campaign management, ideally within Building Materials, Construction or a related B2B/industrial sector
- Industry: Marketing exposure within a B2B or technical industry with strong distribution and channel networks
- Hands-on experience running digital marketing, content and marketing analytics across multiple channels
