MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT – FIXED TERM CONTRACT – National Agricultural Research and Development Institute

To plan, organize, coordinate and finalise annual budgets to meet the financial needs of the Institute and prepare monthly, and quarterly management accounts to reflect the accurate financial position; Accurate handling of data; Compliance with internal policies and accounting standards and regulatory requirements; Prepare and analyse financial reports; Forecasts; Variance Analysis to provide insights into business performance, trends and opportunities for improvement to facilitate decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related fields and a Professional Accounting qualification from a recognized institute (e.g., ACCA, BICA, CPA, CIMA).
• Full membership of a professional accounting body recognized internationally is required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years' post professional qualification experience in accounting, financial reporting and management or related fields, three (3) of which should have been at management/supervisory level.
• Demonstrable experience of using modern finance accounting packages and techniques is required.
• Planning and Organising, Interpersonal and Communication Skills, Teamwork, Quality Orientation, Assertive and Decisive.
