Moba Hotel & Convention Centre is a modern 50-room, three-star hotel on the Kitwe–Ndola Dual Carriageway, offering accommodation, dining and leisure facilities, and a Convention Centre for up to 900 delegates.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure that the hotel's buildings, plant, equipment and utilities remain safe, reliable and well maintained through effective preventive maintenance and timely repairs.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, offices and convention facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for plant, equipment and utilities.
• Supervise, schedule and manage maintenance staff, contractors and service providers.
• Respond promptly to faults and coordinate repairs with minimal disruption to guests and operations.
• Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire, water and backup-power systems.
• Control maintenance costs, tools, spares, inventories and purchasing requirements.
• Maintain asset registers, job cards, inspection records and performance reports.
• Support projects, renovations and statutory inspections and certifications.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, occupational safety and applicable technical regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years' relevant maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in supervision or management.
• Experience maintaining buildings, utilities and hospitality or commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-safety and preventive maintenance systems.
• Relevant professional registration or trade certification will be an advantage.
• Available for emergency call-outs, shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
