Locum Clinical Officer

Job Summary:

• Clara Rosa Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Officer to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based care across outpatient and inpatient settings while contributing to the hospital’s mission of patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
• Conduct patient assessments and formulate care plans.
• Prescribe appropriate treatment, investigations, and referrals.
• Provide emergency care and support inpatient management.
• Document patient information accurately in the hospital system.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and clinical guidelines.
• Participate in clinical audits and continuous medical education.
• Collaborate with nursing, lab, pharmacy, and other departments for coordinated care.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Registered and licensed by the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience internship acceptable.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and professionalism.
