This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technological infrastructure of a dynamic organization involved in mineral exploration, mining, hydrometallurgical processing, and related industries.
About the Information Technology Specialist Role The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s IT systems to ensure seamless business operations. This role requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, managing network equipment, and securing digital assets across CCM’s manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities for Information Technology Specialist Jobs in Chingola Deliver comprehensive IT support services throughout the company’s manufacturing sites. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot printers, desktop computers, operating systems, and application software.
Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related challenges. Set up, configure, and troubleshoot network devices including switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
Install, test, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including camera installation and NVR configuration. Perform network cable termination and ensure consistent network connectivity.
Conduct routine inspections, monitor network performance, and implement preventive maintenance on IT infrastructure. Support ongoing installation, maintenance, and improvement of IT systems to promote operational stability and efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. At least three years of relevant IT support experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven skills in printer installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with CCTV system installation and maintenance, including NVR setup.
Basic knowledge of network cable termination, structured cabling, and overall network infrastructure. Familiarity with network monitoring tools, fault diagnosis, and routine IT infrastructure inspections.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and respond swiftly to technical issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a customer-oriented approach to IT support.
