Action for Youth Foundation Trust (AYFT) is a registered youth-focused non-profit organization that improves the life standard of youth in Zimbabwe through enhanced health access, climate resilience and civic engagement.

About the Role:
The organization is looking for a Human Resources Graduate Trainee who will support and manage the recruitment, onboarding and development of staff, ensuring compliance with organization’s HR policies. They will handle employee relations, performance management and provide HR support to ensure a productive and positive work environment, fostering a culture of growth and empowerment on a voluntary basis. The volunteer should be able to commit at least 10 hours per week.

Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for:

• Advertising open vacancies, shortlisting and interviewing candidates
• Handling employee grievances and conflicts
• Supporting the management with subordinate issues
• Fostering positive workplace culture
• Coordinating performance appraisals
• Supporting goal setting and development plans
• Coordinating volunteer training programs
• Maintaining volunteer records
• Generating HR reports and analysis.
• Supporting Organizational Development
• Ensuring PSEA, Child Safeguarding and Code of Conduct Policies are implemented.

Requirements:

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Industrial Sociology or any relevant Social Science.
• Agora Certificate of Completion in Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Abuse (PSEA) is a must.
• Recent Graduates looking for experience are encouraged to apply.
