Lumicasa Interiors (Pvt) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of timber, furniture, and aluminium building products, is expanding its team. We are seeking motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals to fill the following vacancies:

FURNITURE MAKER — 2 Positions
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe (Production Workshop)
Reports To: Production Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE
To craft high-quality furniture pieces from design to finished product, combining technical skill and attention to detail to meet Lumicasa’s quality and brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Construct furniture items from timber, boards, and composite materials to design specification
•Select and prepare appropriate materials for each piece
•Join, assemble, and reinforce furniture components for durability and finish quality
•Apply upholstery, veneer, laminate, or finishing treatments where required
•Inspect finished furniture for structural integrity and aesthetic quality before dispatch
•Collaborate with designers and carpenters to resolve production challenges

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Trade certificate/apprenticeship in Furniture Making, Cabinet Making, or related discipline
•Minimum 2 years’ experience manufacturing furniture in a workshop or factory setting

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
•Strong craftsmanship and finishing skills
•Knowledge of furniture materials, joints, and assembly techniques
•Attention to detail and quality consciousness
•Ability to work efficiently to meet production schedules
•Team collaboration skills across design and production functions
