FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – The Travel Centre (Botswana) (Pty) Ltd T/a Harvey World Travel Gaborone

Harvey World Travel Gaborone, part of the Clover Chemical Group seeks to recruit a Financial Controller who will be reporting directly to and working closely with the Directors.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the finance and accounting functions to support and advance varying activities of the Group's business.

The role encompasses forward planning, budgeting and conducting business reviews, focusing on pricing, cost control and margin analysis in a Travel Environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting directly to and working closely with the Directors
• Responsible for the finance and accounting functions to support and advance varying activities of the Group's business
• Forward planning, budgeting and conducting business reviews, focusing on pricing, cost control and margin analysis in a Travel Environment

Requirements

• A computer literate qualified chartered accountant who is a member of one of the recognized professional bodies such as Chartered/CIMA/ACCAA Degree in Accounting - preferably an MSc and with post qualifying experience and a sound background in financial and management accounting
• Familiarity with travel agency systems and platforms commonly used in the industry, including booking, ticketing, BSP reconciliation, and travel accounting systems
• A "hands on approach" is essential
