The North Western Provincial Health Office, under the US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Project through a Cooperative Agreement (CoAg) with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions listed below, to be employed on a ten (10) month contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds.

SALARY: A competitive package will be offered to successful candidates on a ten (10) month contract basis.

POSITION 13: FACILITY MONITORING AND EVALUATION ASSISTANT — 1 (ONE) POSITION

Job Title Facility Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant

Reports To Facility In-Charge
Number of Positions 1 (One)

Job Purpose

To undertake Monitoring and Evaluation of HIV/TB Service delivery in order to facilitate decision making.

Job Responsibilities

Data Entry

  • Undertakes timely and accurately capture of patient data in the electronic health systems in order to facilitate storage and retrieval of information.

Data Quality Assurance

  • Undertakes regularly Quality Assurance (QA) in order to ensure quality data.

M&E Reports

  • Undertakes timely preparation and submission of HIV/TB reports in order to inform decision making and monitoring.

Capacity Building

  • Undertakes effectively provision of capacity building to facility staff in Data management in order to impart knowledge and skills.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Full Form 5 / Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
  • Ability to write comprehensive reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer literate, interpersonal skills, confidentiality and analytical skills.
