Driver Jobs in Lusaka – Energy Regulation Board The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) invites qualified Zambian nationals to apply for three full-time driver positions based at its Head Office in Lusaka. About the Energy Regulation Board Established under the Energy Regulation Act No. 12 of 2019, the ERB is the statutory authority responsible for regulating Zambia’s energy industry.

The Board seeks experienced and responsible drivers to join its team and support operational logistics at the Lusaka Head Office. Key Responsibilities for Driver Jobs in Lusaka Perform thorough pre-shift vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with road traffic regulations and operational safety standards.

Transport ERB staff, visitors, and officials safely to designated locations as directed. Assist inspectors during field inspections when requested.

Deliver and collect materials to/from specified sites as instructed by supervisors. Promptly report any vehicle faults, defects, or accidents following the ERB Transport Policy.

Notify the Head Driver when vehicle servicing is due and conduct minor repairs such as changing brake pads, oil, filters, and light bulbs. Maintain accurate daily travel logs for assigned vehicles.

Ensure the security of the assigned motor vehicle at all times. Carry out any additional duties assigned by the Head Driver or other superiors.

Qualifications and Skills Required Minimum Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent (ZAQA verification required). Possession of a valid SADC Driver’s License (PSV minimum).

At least three years of relevant driving experience with manual vehicles in a reputable organisation. Good communication and interpersonal skills, including effective English proficiency and report writing ability.

Confidentiality, professionalism, and proper etiquette are essential. Basic computer literacy.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A certificate in Mechanics is an added advantage.
