Key Responsibilities Vehicle Maintenance:

• Identify and report major mechanical faults promptly, schedule regular servicing, and assist in sourcing quotations for spare parts.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and travel routes to support operational efficiency.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, road tax, and fitness certificates, are up to date.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately to management.
• Candidate Requirements Completion of Grade 12 education.
• Certification in Auto Mechanics or a Craft Certificate from a recognised institution.
• Valid Zambian Driver’s Licence, Class C, with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a driver and mechanic, preferably within a busy organisation.
• Strong communication skills in English and good interpersonal abilities.
• Basic troubleshooting skills to effectively address mechanical issues.
