We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dispatch Analyst (short term) to become an integral part of our Maintenance Team.

About the Dispatch Analyst Role Reporting directly to the Engineer - Reliability, the Dispatch Analyst will play a critical role in monitoring equipment health, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring seamless communication between operations, maintenance teams, and dispatch systems.

Your efforts will help maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime, supporting production targets effectively. Key Responsibilities for Dispatch Analyst Jobs in Kalumbila Monitor real-time equipment status using fleet management and dispatch systems.

Assist in root cause analysis for major equipment failures to improve reliability. Track the availability and utilization of heavy mobile equipment such as haul trucks, excavators, loaders, and drills.

Serve as the primary communication link between operations and technicians for breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities. Coordinate equipment dispatch to align with production schedules and targets.

Identify equipment requiring maintenance through alerts, condition monitoring, or operator reports. Ensure safe removal of equipment from service for repairs when necessary.

Analyze equipment performance data to identify downtime trends and recurring faults. Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 Certificate.

Advanced Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering (minimum). At least three years of experience in reliability, condition monitoring, dispatch, or related roles.

Membership with the Engineering Institution of Zambia is required. Proven knowledge of fleet management and dispatch systems such as Hexagon MineOperate, Modular Mining Dispatch, Wenco, CAT MineStar, or equivalents.

Competency in data analysis, reporting, and performance trend analysis using Microsoft Excel. Possession of an unrestricted Class B driver’s license.
