Lumicasa Interiors (Pvt) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of timber, furniture, and aluminium building products, is expanding its team. We are seeking motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals to fill the following vacancies:

DESIGNER — 2 Positions
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
Reports To: Design & Production Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To create functional, market-appealing designs for furniture, interiors, and aluminium building products that meet client specifications, brand standards, and manufacturing feasibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop design concepts, drawings, and specifications for furniture and aluminium building products
•Translate client briefs into technical drawings using CAD/design software
•Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable within cost and material constraints
•Prepare 2D/3D renderings and mock-ups for client presentations and approvals
•Stay current with design trends, materials, and finishes relevant to the furniture and building products industry
•Review and refine designs based on client and production feedback

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or related field
•Minimum 2 years’ relevant design experience, ideally in furniture, joinery, or aluminium/building products
•Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) required

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
•Strong creative and technical drawing ability
•Good understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
•Attention to detail and accuracy in specifications
•Ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines
Effective client-facing communication skill
