Position Overview:
The role requires ensuring timely delivery of outgoing mail to stakeholders and external clients, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth operation of the mailroom. Key Responsibilities for Delivery Clerk Jobs in Lusaka Collect and sort mail from the post office efficiently.
Record and date stamp all ordinary mail intended for dispatch. Ensure the office remains well-stocked with necessary mail supplies.
Arrange for the pickup of outgoing mail as required. Perform any other lawful duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Certificate in Records Management or a related field.
Minimum of one year relevant work experience in a busy environment. Valid driving licence.
Membership in the Zambia Library Association or other appropriate professional bodies. Skills and Attributes Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a good team player.
Innovative with excellent planning abilities. Honest, reliable, and demonstrates strong moral integrity.
Proficient with computer applications including MS Word and Excel. Capable of multitasking and working independently with minimal supervision.
