Lumicasa Interiors (Pvt) Ltd, a leading manufacturer of timber, furniture, and aluminium building products, is expanding its team. We are seeking motivated, skilled, and reliable individuals to fill the following vacancies:

CARPENTER — 4 Positions
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe (Production Workshop)
Reports To: Production Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE
To manufacture, assemble, and finish quality timber furniture and joinery products in line with design specifications, safety standards, and production timelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists
•Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber components to specification
•Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and correctly
•Perform quality checks on finished products, correcting defects as needed
•Apply finishes, fittings, and hardware to completed pieces
•Maintain tools, machinery, and a clean, safe workstation
•Meet daily/weekly production targets set by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
•Apprenticeship, National Certificate/Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery, or equivalent trade qualification
•Minimum 2 years’ hands-on carpentry experience in a furniture or joinery production environment

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
•Skilled use of woodworking machinery and hand tools
•Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
•Ability to read technical/cutting drawings accurately
•Good understanding of workshop health and safety practices
•Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to production deadlines
