ASSISTANT SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

Malawi Sun Hotel is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Sales and Marketing Manager to support sales and marketing operations, drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and promote the hotel’s services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

ROLE OBJECTIVE

• To help steer the operational engine of the Sales and Marketing department, translating the SMM’s high-level strategy into daily, tactical execution.
• Managing the field sales team, drives corporate partnerships and acts as the primary operational deputy to bridge any pipeline gaps.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

Must have 5 to 8 years of experience in sales, marketing or a dual support role, preferably with prior team leadership exposure.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Excellent communication skills, data-driven mindset, problem solving, and time management.
