Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
● Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
● Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
● Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
● Ensure compliance with all KRA statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, and other tax obligations.
● Manage eTIMS invoicing and ensure compliance with the latest KRA regulations.
● Support payroll processing and maintain payroll-related records where required.
● Maintain accurate records within the accounting and ERP systems.
● Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning.
● Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation.
● Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
● Perform any other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
● Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
● Experience working in a busy, fast-paced business environment.
Skills & Competencies
● Strong computer proficiency.
● Working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software.
● Experience using HR software, ERP systems, and CRM systems.
● Knowledge of Odoo ERP will be a distinct advantage.
● Strong understanding of KRA compliance requirements and eTIMS.
● Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
● High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
● Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
● Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
